Email Marketing’s Role In Internet Marketing

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers - as we do - and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

Save Money WIth Cheap Web Site Hosting Today

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

In the current industrial crunch most are making an attempt to reduce costs and save money.  There are numerous webhosts who provide free and cheap web site hosting services.  Before you purchase their services, you need to have a clear idea of your requirements and if your website host can supply them.

First off, to know if cheap website hosting is what will work for you, you want to know if the disk drive space being given to you is acceptable or not.  For you need to grasp the size of your internet site, if it has multiple pages, if you want to upload video files and music files.  Is the bandwidth being supplied by your cheap website hosting service is adequate to handle the sort of traffic your site attracts?  If your website has a large amount of traffic, then you might need to consider getting the services of an internet host that isn’t cheap.

Another crucial factor to think about is if you want many email aliases.  Inexpensive site hosts might have constraints of the amount of email accounts you need.  Moreover cheap website hosting services may not be in a position to supply you with technical support that is top notch.  Once you have checked out your wishes, then you can make your choice.

There are many articles openly available on the net which tell you about the leading cheap web site hosting services.  There are lists and then there are shopper reviews.  Read the articles and also check the prices.  The web host companies are listed as per their price, the service they supply and also the tech support they offer.  The price varies ; it can be anything between $4.90 and $19.90 each month.  Cheap web hosting costs change as per the facilities they provide.  The disk drive space, the bandwidth, free set up etc .

there are plenty of inexpensive website hosting services that offer unlimited space or unlimited band width.  Beware of these schemes, as there’s no such thing as “unlimited”.  The majority of these services have a catch.  Do not fall victim to this marketing gimmick.

Some of the top cheap website hosting firms are : Just Host, Super Green Hosting, Blue Host and Hostgator web hosting.  These corporations offer inexpensive web hosting services.  However, not every one of them may meet your website hosting needs.  You’ll need to read their packages, read purchaser testimonials, appraise the services against what you need and then join up with them.

naturally there are plenty of corporations that offer free web hosting services.  You can research the free web hosting services too, although I do not recommend free hosting services.  Most free web hosting services come with strings attached.

Luckily there is a site where you can get your hands on some amazing deals and find some cheap web site hosting for your website or business.   IM Cash Saver is a site that does deals for a large range of online marketing services & products including cheap web site hosting.  Just head to IM Cash Saver and find some cheap web site hosting today.  Easily save up to 60% or more on your hosting wants.
